Why visit Dwellingup for your next short break?

Dwellingup is ideal for your next short break as it is located only one hour drive from Armadale and it has a beautiful river running at Lane Poole Reserve. The township has kept its original charm as all the stores are located down the main street of the town. The people are very friendly and you can walk from Dwellingup Retreat to the local pub, IGA, Dwellingup tourist bureau and it even has its own Blue Wren cafe, that is located 500 metres from the front gate. Wine Tree Cidery is only 800 metres up the road and it does a great platter. If you are looking for some fun then make sure you take a trip on the Hotham Stream train at 10 am and 2 pm.

If you aren’t interested in cooking your food then there is also a restaurant down the road and if you are happy to travel there are some great pubs that are a short drive from Dwellingup such as the  Quindalling Pub. If you are looking just to relax and to put your feet up and read the paper.  Then the local IGA store also doubles as a newsagent so you can get your favourite newspaper in minutes.
