Hotham River in Boddington

Hotham River is one of the reasons that I first purchased Boddington Retreat and renovated it for accommodation in Boddington. My father has a farm in Boddington and he convinced me to visit Boddington. When I walked down the river past the old wooden bridge I fell in love with Boddington and I decided to purchase the property.

If you are looking for some exercise then I would suggest that you walk to the end of Johnstone street, towards the primary school. When you reach primary school you will come to the river. At present, there are several sculptures at the end of the street that are interesting to view. You can then decide to walk either right or left. If you go left you will arrive at the boardwalk that goes through the bush and if you go right, you will be on Tully’s walk which is ongoing. I can’t say I have ever got to the end of it. It is a great way to start your day and if you like taking photos make sure you take your camera. It is located only 800 meters from Boddington Retreat.
